1. I woke up this morning and found this surprise waiting for me in the bathroom…
I know some people aren’t big flower fans because they’ll be dead within a week but I happen to love them. Nothing brightens up a room (even if that room is the bathroom 
) quite like fresh flowers.
2. Not only did August buy me flowers but he also made me one of the sweetest gifts I’ve ever seen.
All of the writing that you see, he burned onto the piece of wood. And now I can add future dates, like hopefully getting engaged, getting married, and having kids. 
3. I like Valentine’s Day so much that I scheduled myself a dentist appointment today. And since I don’t have dental insurance I’ll actually be seeing a 2nd year (3rd year?) dental student. Not sure how I feel about the prospect of a student messing around with my teeth. Here’s hoping all goes well.
4. Duncan officially can’t father any puppies. We had him neutered yesterday and now he’s forced to wear the cone for the next few days.
Duncan’s uncoordinated as it is but having to wear the cone just puts him over the edge. I know it’s mean but it’s impossible not to laugh while he tries to navigate around the house.
